Abravenel Hall. (I forgot the artist's name, but I think there was a documentary about his work a few years ago. )
When Jeff first showed me this one, I thought, "Why (and how) are you taking upside down shots?" Then I realized that it was a reflection in the pool across the way.
This year's reflections theme was "My Favorite Place," so Hannah built her version of her Uncle Steve and Aunt Jamie's house. It is pretty cool.
This would be Salt Air.
A train.
A train.

I thought this might be a good picture to use in the classroom for a writing response prompt. You know, write for five minutes on whatever comes to your mind after looking at this picture. It reminds me of the beginning of a journey.
This one makes me think of what it might feel like to be a small, woodland creature.
Grandma's cat, Max, is huge! He isn't even a year old and Abby already has a hard time holding him. Hmm...maybe he will appease Abby's desire for a horse?
There is a cool thing by the stadium that they built for the olympics, and they light it up at night with changing colors--funky.
This is why people pay big money to live on the bench.
Oooo...night shot. As you can tell, Jeff is having great fun taking pictures, and I'm having great fun looking at the pictures.
A cool shot of stairs. (By the way, if you haven't been to the city library, it really is a neat place with lots to do and see.)
More peaceful library.
Hey, whatchoo lookin' at, Willis?
A cool shot at the library.
Jeff got some great pictures of Sam while he was out playing on the playground, but this is the cutest shot of his smile by far. I especially like how his eyes are all crinkled up. What a handsome guy.
