Flying with the birds

What a beautiful day for a dive. See I-80 swooping around the bottom of the picture and Antelope Island off in the distance. And as Steph's photographer said. "Now you know why the birds sing". 

That's Me

Okay, it's hard to see it in this picture (if you click on the picture, it will reappear a bit bigger), but here I am floating high in the sky, doing the twists and turns that made me just a little bit nauseous. It was absolutely thrilling, especially the free fall. I can't wait to do it again! 

Waahoo

Today was a big day. In celebration of Steph's birthday, Jeff surprised her by taking her skydiving! It was even more exciting when Steph's mom decided she would join her. Here she is getting suited up and practicing her deep breathing exercises before the big jump. Way to go, Mom!

It was spring

Well, we had spring for about a week or two before summer hit. The trees were beautiful. Oh well, maybe this picture will remind us of the nice weather we were able to enjoy as we begin to battle the heat of summer. 

Wahoo #2

After watching Jonah cruise around on his scooter as fas as Hannah on her bike (if not faster), his mom guessed that he was ready to ride a two-wheeler, AND HE WAS! Jeff had a hard time keeping up with him so he could help him stop since he was on Sam's big bike. We were so excited for him! Watch out while walking on the sidewalks (and on the grass and by the woodchips and...). 

Another late night

We don't seem to get tired of Jonah's sleeping pictures. I guess it's useful for proving that he actually has down time, which isn't nearly as easy to prove when it comes to the other three kids. Oh well, they're all pretty cute. 

Look ma, no hands

Sam is very proud of his new trick--standing on Jeff's shoulders. While he gets a kick out of it, his mom tries not to look becasue it makes her nervous (she tends to be a bit over-protective).
