Growing up

Notice Abby's ears. This was taken on her birthday (in April), and she had just gotten her ears pierced. Wahoo!

graduation

I am a horrible parent. I keep forgetting the camera on special events, so little documentation has happened. In lieu of a picture from last night's graduation ceremony, here is a fabulous picture of Hannah. She's within an inch of my heigth, unable to wear most of my shoes anymore, and as awesome as ever. Congratulations, Hannah!

Jonah's birthday

He is getting so big. This year Jonah had his first friend birthday party, and yes, we all survived. I was glad to have Jeff there to help, though. That many five-year-olds can be a handful!

Sam's science fair

I love the kids' school. Sam was part of a science fair (obviously) and chose to compare the amount of water used to take a shower and a bath. He did a great job; we are very proud of him. (But he would still prefer to take a bath.)

Moab #whatever

This was the view from our dinner table. Not bad, heh?

Moab #3

So Jeff and I rented a Jeep for the day and went exploring/four-wheeling. This was our first real hill and boy was it fun. It was a bit intimidating at first, but we ended up going over this hill three times because of the thrill. It's funky to be driving up a hill and see only sky. This said, we realized we were a bit old (or fuddy-duddy-ish) to drive on some of the roads that jostled, jerked, and jiggled us to no end. At the end of the day, we were grateful for the pool and hot tub we had access to at the lodge.

Moab #2

That small white spot is Jeff. He obviously has no problems with heights.

Moab #1

Okay, so this isn't the most flattering picture; however, seeing as I get a bit dizzy when looking down from high places, it was the only option if I wanted to see some of what Jeff was telling me about. Our trip to Moab was fabulous and further testified to me that Utah is one of the most environmentally diverse places ever. So cool.
